Amatör Denizci Belgesi (ADB)
As of 2026 it’s split into ADB 10 (boats up to 10 m) and ADB 24 (up to 24 m, which needs 12 months as an ADB 10 holder first). The process runs digitally through adbs.uab.gov.tr with e-Devlet login: ~10 hours of online theory, then an online exam (50 questions, 60 min; pass mark listed as 60–70/100 — confirm on the official site). A health report is required, possibly waived if you hold a driver’s licence.
KMT — radio
The Kısa Mesafe Telsiz certificate is your VHF / short-range licence. Take it alongside the ADB.
To actually charter
In Türkiye the requirement is the Turkish licence for residents (or an ICC for foreigners); the ICC is widely accepted at Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek and Fethiye. But charter companies and insurers increasingly want proof you can handle the boat. Aim for RYA Day Skipper or IYT Bareboat Skipper, which needs about 100 nm of logged sea experience.
The ladder: ADB 10 + KMT → log miles → Day Skipper / Bareboat → Coastal Skipper → the passage.

Kısa Mesafe Telsiz belgesi senin VHF / kısa mesafe telsiz iznindir. ADB ile birlikte al.
Gerçekten kiralamak için
Türkiye’de gereken, sakinler için Türk belgesi (yabancılar için ICC); ICC Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek ve Fethiye’de yaygın kabul görür. Ancak kiralama şirketleri ve sigortacılar gitgide tekneyi idare edebildiğine dair kanıt istiyor. Hedefin RYA Day Skipper ya da IYT Bareboat Skipper olsun; bunun için yaklaşık 100 deniz mili kayıtlı deneyim gerekir.
